The new year is here and that means new goals. I have always been a resolution and goal person. I like to set yearly goals, monthly goals, weekly goals and even daily goals. I make big plans and use small steps to make sure those big plans happen. My day is time-blocked and I get excited about checking things off my to-do list. My weakness is flexibility.
Tim is the opposite. He is a seize the day as it brings it to him. He is a much more flexible person than I am. He tackles things as they come along and doesn’t worry about the future. His weakness is finding time for those big future goals.
There is a reason we are married and farm together. Neither way is better, but together we compliment each others tendencies to accomplish more on our farm.
In 2024, we started weekly open hours added to our monthly pop-up Saturday open hours and appointment hours. The one evening a week was a huge success and we enjoy seeing familiar faces each week. I know one evening a week isn’t convenient for everyone. In 2025, I see us adding even more open hours, if that is what you all want. We need your help.
