I love easy recipes. This recipe is about as simple as they come. Pork, mustard, brown sugar, oven. Yep, that is it.
Here is my “secret” recipe for a super easy and juicy pork roast
Juicy Pork Roast
- 1 3-4lbs Zweber Farms Pork Roast
- 3-4 tablespoons honey mustard
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- pinch of salt
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Smear mustard on all sides of the roast. Don’t be afraid to be generous. Next sprinkle brown sugar and salt on each side.
Cook the roast in a shallow pan or dish (don’t cover) for 40-90 minutes, until the roast reaches 145 degrees. Here is a great chart that shows you the cooking times for pork.
Take the roast out and let it rest for 15 minutes. This allows the meat to continue to cook internally without drying out.
That is it! Yummy, juicy and simple pork roast.
I served the roast with homemade cranberry sauce, broccoli, homemade whole wheat bread and of course Organic Valley milk.
