So, I have fallen off the face of the Earth when it comes to blogging lately. I am so sorry. Our oldest is having a lot of trouble in school this year, and my blogging time has turned into dinner prep time so that I can be there for homework time. I am still trying to figure out my schedule. Until that happens blog posts might sparse. Make sure to check us out on Facebook though. Facebook is easier and quicker for me to update.
Healthy School lunch challenge week 3 and 4 and 5?
Though I have slacked on the blogging, I am still keeping up on my healthy school lunch plan. That is one reason I don’t have time to blog at night. Time is a hot commodity these days. Below you will find our meals from the past two or three weeks. Hopefully, this will give you more healthy school lunch ideas. You can check out our first week here and my tips to making healthy homemade lunches a success here.

One issue I am having is veggies. The boys love cherry tomatoes right off the plant, but refuse to eat them in their lunches. I have resorted to carrots and pickles again. Do you have any suggestions? I am looking for all the help I can get.
I hope that the school year settles down, and I am able to get back to blogging on a more regular bases. Until then, just know that I LOVE all my readers. Please hang in there as I try to sort my life out again.
All of those lunches look delicious! How about avocado? Will they eat that? I make my guacamole with onion powder and lemon or lime juice and about 1 tablespoon per avocado of Cardini’s Caesar salad dressing. It’s my own secret recipe! My kids love it.
My kids don’t do guac either, but your idea led me to think homemade salsa was a good lunch alternative. They did eat that!
