Roast and Ramen, one beef or pork roast makes two meals

Turn your Zweber Farms pork or beef roast into two meals. I like things simple but big flavor when it comes to meals. When I am short on time I will take either a frozen pork roast or beef roast, chop up an onion, chop some garlic, add some salt and pepper and some spices, add some water and then roast it for about 90 minutes in my Instant Pot. If your roast is thawed cook for only 45-60 minutes.

The meat is done perfectly. I serve it with a side salad, rice, and milk. Check. Dinner is done with very little hands on time.

After we are done eating I put the leftover meat back in the pot with the juices and set in the fridge until the next day. This becomes my base for ramen. True ramen takes hours to make, but we aren’t those people. Instead, I add some more beef or chicken broth to the pot with juices and meat. I then add some fresh or dry ginger, some chili paste, some soy sauce, some chopped greens like bok choy, kale, or spinach. You can add bamboo or bean sprouts. Maybe add some mushrooms. It all depends what I have in the pantry. I will let this simmer for 10-15 minutes. I then add some ramen noodles and let it simmer for another five minutes or so. Ramen done. Enjoy two meals with one roast. Play around with this to see what you like best.
