I know that I usually do a meat related recipe on Mondays, but after coming off a very hot weekend here on the farm, it only seems right to do a homemade yogurt and fruit popsicle recipe. If you need a meat recipe for this week, check out Recipes tab for new ideas.
This past week the farm’s strawberry patch exploded. Though the strawberries were quite small, there are a bunch out there. Lisa was kind enough to pick and clean a large bowl of them for me.
I had big plans to make a pie or something equally fabulous. Instead, as I pondered what to make, I ate about half the bowl. So we made our favorite summer time treat: Yogurt and Fruit popsicles.
First I had Jonnie add the fresh fruit (strawberries and bananas) to the blender. You can add whatever fruit you have on hand.
Next he added some Stonyfield French Vanilla yogurt. Stonyfield uses Organic Valley milk, so eat up!
Then we blended it all together. If the mixture seems too thick, add some milk.
Next we added it to popsicle molds.
This is a not an exact recipe; it isn’t rocket science to make these yogurt and fruit popsicles.
Place them in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours. We had extra yogurt blend that didn’t fit in the molds. It was an instant breakfast smoothie.

This looks good no matter what you do with it. Thank you! :o)
And it tastes great!! Bonus is that it is super healthy
Happy to know Stonyfield (the yogurt I buy) is made using OV milk.
